Mr. Philmore Ogle – Chairman Philmore Ogle is a retired Chairman of Deloitte & Touche (Chartered Accountants) and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Management Consultants).
He is a Past President of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce and of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of Jamaica, a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and of the Association of Accountants (Jamaica) Incorporated.Mr. Ogle is a former Board Member of the National Development Bank, the Jamaica Development Bank and the Agricultural Marketing Corporation. He spearheaded representations which led to the enactment of the Public Accountancy Act and to the amendments to the Money Lending Act.
Mr. Gary Allen – Deputy Chairman
Gary Allen is a career media specialist who has worked in the print and electronic media at the national, regional and international levels. He has been involved in media for almost 20 years.
Mr. Allen is the Deputy Chairman of the Media Association of Jamaica and is employed to the RJR Communications Group as the Deputy Managing Director.Mr. Allen was involved in the first leaders political debate held in Jamaica in 1992 and has worked with political debates in the Caribbean while he worked for the Caribbean Broadcasting Union and the Caribbean Media Corporation.
Mr. Anthony ChangMr. Chang is a director of the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Ltd., Dehring Bunting and Golding Ltd., Mussons Jamaica Ltd., Mossel, trading as Digicel, and of Consolidated Bakeries (Ja.) Ltd.
In the period 1999 – 2003, while serving as President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Chang was instrumental in conceptualizing and organizing the Debates Commission and subsequent to demitting office, assisted in executing the first set of debates of the commission for the 2002 general elections.
Miss Jennifer GrantMs. Grant holds a B.A. (Hon.) from the University of the West Indies, majoring in Communications and Social Sciences, and a Masters of Liberal Arts Degree in Media and Business Administration from the New York University.
She was the first female President of the Press Association of Jamaica in the period 1993-1997 and the first Vice President of the Caribbean Media Workers Association for the period 1996-1997. Ms. Grant was the recipient of the 1999 Press Association of Jamaica National Journalism Award for Human Interest for a series of programmes on post-Apartheid South Africa
Mr. Brian SchmidtBrian Schmidt is the Marketing Manager of IRIE FM and Zip 103 FM. He is a member of the Media Association of Jamaica (MAJ) Executive and was also Chairman of the MAJ for the period April 2004 to September 2005.
Brian is an avid sportsman and lover of art, architecture and motor cars. He holds a B.A. in Mass Communication and Social Sciences from U.W.I. and a M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University.
Mr. Lyndon WilliamsHe holds a B.A. in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Trevor FearonMr. Fearon also participated in technical assistance missions involving the organizers of national political debates in Peru and Nigeria.
He was a Fulbright Graduate awardee and holds a B.A. (Language & Literature) and an MBA in International Marketing.
Mrs. Eleanor HenryMrs. Henry has extensive experience in business administration and management. She holds a B.Sc. in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from Barry University.
